If you’re heading to the Stone Food and Drink Festival in Staffordshire this year, you would think you know what you're getting. Good food. Bands and singers. A mooch around the stalls. Tasting and sampling all the many tasty products you would expect in the market.
It’s what makes it one of the better weekends we get in Staffordshire. But there’s something else there. And it’s easy to miss.
HIDDEN Season 4 runs during the Stone Food and Drink Festival, 8th - 10th May.
You Have to Notice It
It doesn’t shout. No big signs. No one trying to pull you in.
Just something slightly different if you’re paying attention.
You will notice 'Lewis', he is our character inspired by the magic of CS Lewis and Lewis Carroll. Lewis will be in charge of our guest list. If you're on it he will invite you in to explore further.
Once you have entered into H I D D E N expect to be transported into a hidden bar. Once you have been served you will be invited to take your seats and dine with chef Cris and his team.
This is H I D D E N Season 4 by Cris Cohen.

Who’s Behind It...
Cris Cohen’s work is built around connection. Food as a way to slow things down and create moments that actually mean something.
Not overcomplicated. Not overdone. Just thoughtful and completely delicious.
You can feel that this has been curated.
Drink and dine with us and share a 5-course dining experience hidden within the festival itself. You step away from the noise outside and into a completely different space.
There’s no menu to choose from on the day. The experience is curated and unfolds course by course.
Seasonal British ingredients, many local. Clean, considered flavour combinations. Dishes designed around balance rather than complexity.
Expect a set tasting menu experience that will only be available at the Stone Food & Drink Festival.
Booking Options & Pricing
Places are limited and must be booked in advance.
Ticket options:
- Seating experience: £66 per person with optional drinks package add-on
Each booking includes the full H I D D E N dining experience during your selected sitting time.
It Slows Everything Down
You step in and the pace changes. The background noise drops away. You’re sat down properly.
No scrolling. No deciding. Just arriving and letting it unfold.
Courses arrive one by one as do the paired wines.
You’re sat with others sharing the same experience. And you’re sharing a moment that not many will encounter.
That’s what Cris and his team create, deliciousness, moments not to be repeated. Savour that.
You Leave Feeling Like You’ve Been Somewhere Else
Not in a dramatic way.
Just enough that when you step back out into the festival, it feels different. You feel that you've shared something yet you feel like it's a secret.
Not Everyone Will Pass By Lewis Into H I D D E N
Most people will go to the Stone Food and Drink Festival, eat well, and head home.
A smaller number will find this, sit down, and experience something more considered. That’s the difference.

If You’re Going, It’s Worth Knowing
If you’re already planning on being there, just be aware of it. Look out for Lewis.
Or better yet, book ahead. Because once those seats are gone, that’s it.
Make sure when Lewis looks down that list, you’re on it!
